SOUTH BEND - Clara J. Sienkiewicz passed away at 4:53 pm on Monday, January 9, 2012, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Clara was born on April 28, 1913, in South Bend, to the late Karl and Veronica (Zmielkowski) Dudzisz. On April 26, 1947, she married Richard Sienkiewicz, who preceded her in death in 1979. Clara was also preceded in death by brothers, Leo, Roman, Stanley Dudzisz; sisters, Bernadette Dudzisz, Martha Bartz, Irene Lentine and Mary Luczynski. Clara is survived by daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Kousen of LaPorte; and two grandchildren, Jeremy and Jesse Kousen. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Catholic Church, and was a seamstress. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, with a funeral service following at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 12, 2012, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 415 N. Brookfield St., South Bend, IN 46628, in lieu of flowers.
