MISHAWAKA - Rosemary T. Mishler, 92, of Mishawaka, passed away on Wednesday, May 18th, in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka. Rosemary was born in Mishawaka on January 25, 1924, to the late William L. and Cecelia S. (Behan) Kearney. She graduated from Mishawaka High School as part of the Class of ‘42. On November 8, 1947, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, William L. Mishler. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2008. Rosemary was a homemaker most of her life but was fond of her time when she worked at Newman's Ladies Apparel. Rosemary enjoyed playing cards, cheering on Notre Dame football, and traveling throughout the U.S. with her husband. Her greatest joy was being in the company of her family. Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Sue (Richard) Berger of South Bend, Janet (Timothy) Shide of South Bend, Mary Mishler of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Jackie (Charles) Gaver of Williamsport, Maryland. She was a proud grandmother of nine and a great-grandmother of 24, number 25 due this summer. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Frances Pozzi, Marian Varga, Catherine Krszewski, Margaret Mishler and Leo Kearney. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, May 21st, from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am in St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church, 2120 E. Jefferson. A Mass of Christian Burial is to be held at 10:00 am with Fr. Dave Ruppert officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
