SOUTH BEND - Agnes Carol Lass, 84, of Forest Park Health Care Center, Kokomo, formerly of South Bend, died at 3:35 a.m. Friday at the health care center. Mrs. Lass retired in 1972 from St. Joseph's Medical Center's business office. She was born Aug. 19, 1910, in Chicago and lived in South Bend until 1991. In 1958, she married Gustav Lass. He died in 1983. Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Bender of Kokomo; a son, Douglas Wist of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Julia Weber of Portland, Ore.; two stepsons, Gust Lass of South Bend and Tony Lass of Dallas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had worked in offices in Chicago and at Studebaker's cost/accounting department. Memorial services will be at noon Monday at the chapel of Highland Cemetery. Fenn & Shirley Mortuary, 1315 W.
