Roberta M. Botset, age 93 of Nappanee, IN, died at 1:34 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Heritage House in Nappanee. Roberta was born on November 7, 1929 in St. Joseph County, IN to Robert and Nora (Enders) Kamp. She was raised in the Wyatt, IN area and was a graduate of Madison High School. On August 2, 1947 she married Elmore A. Botset and together they lived in Bremen, IN until moving to Mishawaka, IN in 1972, where they lived until Elmoreā€™s passing on September 8, 2014. Roberta is survived by her 2 children: Brenda K. Fritz of Elkhart, IN and Eric (Carol) Botset of Nappanee; 5 grandchildren: Brad (Libby) Fritz, Cheryl (Jeff) Douglas, Kimberly (Larry) Winslow, Tina Fritz, and David (Carisa) Botset; and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from Noon-2 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, with a funeral service starting at 2 pm with Pastor Tom Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
