Mildred Matilda Dierking, 97, passed away on July 25th, 2022, peacefully with family at her side. The youngest child of Archiel and Esther Vincent, she was born on December 7, 1924, in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was married to her loving husband, Robert Dierking for 71 years. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, and brother, Richard Vincent. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Madsen (David), grandson, Todd Kesler (Christine), grandson, Christopher Madsen (Melanie) and great grandchildren, Mary Kate, Megan and Teddy. A lifelong resident of Mishawaka, Mildred enjoyed her home, pets, family and taking vacations to the beach. Football was one of her favorite sports and was a devoted Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 10, 2022, at Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615 with a funeral procession at Fairview Cemetery. All memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Humane Society, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
