SOUTH BEND - Imelda A. Bultinck, 89, formerly of 11th Street, Mishawaka, passed away on Sunday, March 18, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Imelda was born on April 19, 1917, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of John and Anna (Markowski) Truckowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Josephine and Joanna, and brothers, Bernard, Casimir and John. On October 1, 1938, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, as the former Imelda Truckowski, she married Charles P. Bultinck, who preceded her in death on September 9, 1997. Surviving Imelda are three sons, Charles G. (Ann) Bultinck and Paul F. (Maureen) Bultinck, both of Mishawaka, and Stephen J. (Cheryl) Bultinck of Lafayette; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Signorino of South Bend. Imelda was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, the Battell Center and Harvest House of St. Joseph Parish of Mishawaka. She worked for Uniroyal for 29 years before she retired in 1972. She enjoyed yard work, Notre Dame football and basketball, dancing, knitting and crocheting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Thursday, March 22, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
