Glenda Kay Pozsgai, 76 years of age, passed on Monday December 13th surrounded by family at Hospice Care of Mishawaka. Glenda was born September 23, 1945 in Lakeville, Indiana to the late Glenn and Golda Martin. She was the youngest of 4 children, two have preceded her in death (Patsy Bennet and Betty Bunton). Her sisters Barbara Armentrout and Carolyn Nowakowski survive. She is also survived by her loving husband (John) of 56 years. She loved working in her flower garden spending endless hours tending to the beauty. Glenda was known for her giving heart and quietly serving others behind the scenes. She was very active in her church and taught children’s Sunday school classes for over 16 years, sharing her faith and teaching the children about Jesus. She was a loving wife, mother of two sons, David and Glenn Pozsgai, four grandsons and one great grandson. She is truly loved and will be missed by all. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday December 18th at 1:00 pm at Palmers Funeral Home, 2528 E. Mishawaka Ave South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to her Celebration of Life Service. Palmer Funeral Homes - River Park Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
