SOUTH BEND - Lillian Trytko, age 92, passed away at Sprenger Health Care of Mishawaka.
Lillian was born May 22, 1928 in South Bend, to the late Stanley and Stella (Guzowski) Rymarz. Lillian was preceded in death by brother, Harry Edward Rymarz, and sister, Geraldine Veronica (Arch) Switalski. Lillian is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette Elizabeth and Carl Wallace, and by her sister Phillis Louise Kolecki. On October 23, 1948, Lillian married her loving husband of 68 years, John Edward Trytko Jr; she is survived by her children, John S. (Ruth C.) Trytko, and David E. (Wendy Sue) Trytko; grandchildren, John B. and Anne C. Trytko, son and daughter of John and Ruth; and Tyler J. and Alex J. Trytko, sons of David and Wendy. Lillian graduated from Riley High School, attended classes at Aurora University while living in Aurora, Illinois, and worked for International Harvester. Lillian was a parishioner of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church where she served as Treasurer and was a choir member. Lillian loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; she will be greatly missed by all. A Funeral service will be held and livestreamed at 1:30pm, Monday, January 4, 2020 in St. Joseph Funeral Home, Mayflower Road. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in South Bend. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
