Eva ''Thompson'' Wantuck, died at 6:07 a.m. Sunday, July 21, at Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. Mrs. Wantuck was born Dec. 3, 1926, in Mishawaka, Ind.
She had formerly worked at Goodwill Industries and as a waitress at Pone Express. She married Jack Thompson on May 18, 1946, as Eva Musary. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1984. Eva than married Casimer Wantuck on Aug. 19, 1995, in Mishawaka; he survives along with a daughter, Eve Thompson of Los Angeles, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Nancy Zurbuck of South Bend, three sons, Thomas A. Welton of Elkhart, Ind., Jack L. Thompson Jr. of Mishawaka, and Ted. E. Thompson of Las Vegas, Nev. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren;one brother, John Musary of Mishawaka; six sisters, Lulabelle O'Bannion of Rolling Prairie, Ind., Rosie Flowers and Ermie Rich, both of Mishawaka, Delores Green, Sue Rigsby, and Joyce Potter, all of Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Wantuck was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360, Mishawaka, and VFW Color Guard Mom. She is also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Friends called Tuesday at the Bubb Funeral Home Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where the funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
