Lechaina (Greek: Λεχαινά) is a town and a former municipality in Elis, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Andravida-Kyllini, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit.[2] It is situated 39 km north of the city of Pyrgos, and 60 km southwest of Patras. BERRIEN SPRINGS - George Bouzas, 60, of Berrien Springs passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Geroge was born on October 5, 1954 to the late Dionysos and Maria Bouzas in Lechaina Elias Greece. In 1976 he came to America to live the American Dream. On June 9, 1986 George married Kimberly Husmann at a ceremony in Elkhart, IN. Together they opened Applewood family restaurant in Berrien Springs from 1990-1995. In 1996 George and Kim opened Hilltop Caf‚ in Buchanan, MI. George loved the people of Buchanan and the community as a whole. He was extremely selfless and willing to help anyone. Most of all George loved being with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kimberly; children, Brooke (Robert) Yoshimura, Maria (Jason) Bouzas-Cullum and Dionysos (Sarah) Bouzas; brothers, Spyros, Pete and Nicholas; sister, Zoi and granddaughter, Savanna. He also has numerous family members in Greece, Canada and Australia. George is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vasilis and John and sisters, Toula and Nicky. Funeral services for George will be held at 4 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will take place from 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Hoven Funeral Home.
