[N32420] John W. Dvorak
November 19, 1954 - June 6, 2022

John Dvorak, 67, of Niles, went peacefully to his eternal home, in the early morning hours on Monday, June 6, 2022, after a short stay at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St, Joseph, Michigan. He was born on November 19, 1954, in Glenview, Illinois, to the late Richard and Margaret (Condon) Dvorak. At a young age his family relocated, and made their home in Niles Michigan, where he graduated from Niles High School in 1975. As a child he loved all things related to space, modeling clay, and dinosaurs. He treasured spending time with his family. As he grew so did his knowledge of model planes, his ancestry, and heritage. He took great pride in beating his opponent in games. He was a self-taught, multi-talented musician and artist, from playing the organ to a blade of grass, he was always adding beauty to the world. John loved being in nature, fishing, bird watching, or being at the lake. He was a long-time member of the Legion of Mary, making thousands of rosaries to be sent all around the world. A devout Catholic who drew his strength from the Holy Trinity, and His Mother Mary. Throughout every challenge he faced in life, he remained an inspiration to everyone he met, especially his siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, Niles, Michigan on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Peter Rocca, C.S.C. and Brother Dennis Meyers C.SC. officiating. A time of visitation will begin one hour prior to service. John will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. His strength, his kindness, and his zest for life will be deeply and widely missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his four siblings, Rick (Carol) Dvorak of Knoxville, Tennessee; Tom (Gill) Dvorak of Chesapeake, Virginia; Judi (Greg) Ingleright of Niles; Tim Dvorak of Niles; twelve nieces and nephews; and twenty-eight great nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions in his memory may be directed to St Mark Catholic Parish, 3 N. 19th Street, Niles, 49120.
