In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Francis, Donald, James, Russell, and John (Jack) Kranz and sisters, Beatrice Ketelhut and Mary Evelyn Zanger. Surviving family includes her children, Earle (Judy) Corak of Eau Claire, Michigan, Richard (Phyllis) Corak of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Michael (Jacqueline) Corak of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Joseph (Janice) Corak of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Robert (Susan) Corak of Portage, Michigan, and Mary (Scott) Hartay of Brookfield, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Gary (Lynne) Corak, Mindy Corak, Ren‚e (Lewis) Whalen, Alison (Owen) Grau, John Corak, Anne Hartay and Matthew Hartay; her great-grandchildren, Allissa Corak, Rachel Corak, Keigan James, Edith Whalen, and Beatrice Whelan; her sisters, Rosemary DeMello of Fraser, Michigan, and Marilyn Sollars of Warren, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie worked as a secretary for various organizations, including the Detroit Police Department, Chrysler Corporation, and the former Sarley Heating Company in Niles, but none provided her more pride and satisfaction than her volunteer work with the late Sister M. Delora Geraghty, C.S.C., at the St. Mary's Christian Service Center food pantry. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Saint Mary Catholic Church by the Rev. Alphonse Savarimuthu, MSFS, of the parish.
