[N12767] Model, TN is located in the Northwestern part of Stewart County, seventeen miles northwest of Dover, is about five miles from the Cumberland River on one side and near the Kentucky Lake on the other. It was first called Pryor's Creek, named for the first settler who came into the area, in or about 1800. later, the community was known as Great Western for the Great Western Furnace established about 1854 by Brian, Newell and Company.

NORTH LIBERTY - Martha Charlene Zywczak, 92, of North Liberty, IN, passed away at 12:07 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at I.U. Health, LaPorte, IN. She was born on July 9, 1922, in Modle, TN, to the late Charles B. and Zannie (Outland) Nunn. She was united in marriage to Edward Zywczak in Chicago, IL, on June 30, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1977. She also was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Cook, Myrtlene Cherry, Ethelene McGarity and Polly Outland; and four brothers, Billy, James, Chester and Jesse Nunn. Mrs. Zywczak is survived by a brother, Howard "Gene" (Barbara) Nunn of Evansville, IN; sister-in-law, Nell Nunn of Gracey, KY; several nieces and nephews; and special close friends in North Liberty. Mrs. Zywczak moved to North Liberty in 1948, coming from Chicago, IL. She was the 1st volunteer for Real Services. She was very active in the North Liberty United Methodist Women's Group and the Treasure Chest in North Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N. Main St., North Liberty, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Martha C.
