John Stephen Konkol, age 52, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017. John was born on August 18, 1964 in South Bend, IN to the late Edwin and Rita (Gembarzewski) Konkol. John is survived by his son, Justin Konkol of Mishawaka; five sisters, Barbara (James) Balbo of Camden, MI, Mary (Richard) Buczek of South Bend, Margaret (James) Huntine of Columbia City, Jeanne (Daniel) Reed of Orlando, FL and Linda (late John) Buchalo of Elmhurst, IL; brothers, Kenneth (Kathy) Konkol of Homestead, FL, and Michael (Peggy) Konkol of Chula Vista, CA. John had a special bond with his son, Justin, his buddy and best friend. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Calvary Chapel, 53494 Fir Road, Granger, IN. Pastor Bob Moore will officiate. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park is assisting the family with arrangements.
