Mildred Mangus

Mrs. Gerald A. Mangus, aged 29, of rural route No. 3, South Bend, died in Epworth hospital at 6:53 a.m. today after 24 hours illness with a heart ailment. She was born in South Bend Nov. 14, 1908, and lived all her life here. She was married in South Bend in 1926 to Gerald A. Mangus who survives. She leaves also a daughter, Beverly Marceil, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Madge Hawkins, Ardmore, this county; Mrs. Aurrel Burke, Mishawaka; Miss Vera Sisk, South Bend, and Mrs. Maxine VanDusen, Plymouth, Ind.; a brother, Charles Sisk, South Bend, and a step-brother, Wayne Sisk, this city. Friends will be received in the residence Sunday afternoon and the body will lie in the Church of God in Sunnymede from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the funeral there at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Rec. E. L. Bliler, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
