Sue was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and furthered her education as she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Mary’s College in South Bend while graduating in the top third of her class. On (June 1, 1991), at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church Sue married Michael J. Lichatowich. Mike preceded her in death in 2001. Sue is survived by her brother Kenneth S. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending Notre Dame Football games and cheering them on when the team played away games. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and was quite fond of all of her pets, especially her cats. Sue was also a longtime member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church and her faith in the Lord never wavered. Even as her health declined, Sue remained faithful and watched Sunday morning Mass on television. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pet Refuge, 4626 S.
