Private memorial services for Evelyn I. Borkowski, age 75 of 515 E Monroe St, who died at 3:05 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital after an illness, were held Sunday in Unity Church. Cremation will take place with burial in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Mrs. Borkowski was born in Parke County, IN. & had been living here since 1934. She married Walter Borkowski who died in 1966.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gayle Hennings of Tucson, AZ.; three sons; Garry D. of South Bend; John David of Holand, I., and Peter D. of Jenison, MI; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a half sister. McGann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
