Ted A. Wroblewski, 79, of South Bend, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, in Memorial Hospital. He was born in South Bend on November 22, 1927, and was a lifelong area resident. Ted was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, in 2002. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Michael) Finch of Muncie,IN; his son, Randy of South Bend; five grandchildren, Kristie, Mark, Ryan, Jennifer and Jason; two great-grandchildren, Lawyer and Kelsie; a sister, Mary Ann Szobocsan of Granger; and a brother, Joseph "Butch" of South Bend. He retired in 2001 as the owner of Indiana Glass Company. He was a member of the St. Joseph Young Men's Society and the Achievement Forum, where he was the Man of the Year in 1990. In addition to his work with the Achievement Forum, Ted was active in the West Side Businessmen's Association and the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., where a rosary will be prayed at 4:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
