Rosalind Chapla, 72, of South Bend, passed away early Sunday morning, March 24, 2019 at Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born January 1, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Lucian and Alice (Peters) Chapla. She graduated from New Carlisle High School in 1965. Rosalind enjoyed riding her horse, cooking and collecting cookware. She also enjoyed playing the piano for New Carlisle School choir. Surviving is her brother, Gerald Chapla, of South Bend as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. No services are planned at this time. Burial will take place at a later date at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
