South Bend - Richard DeVos, 65 years old, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Richard was born December 9, 1956 in Monterey, CA to the late Daniel and Betty (Spencer) DeVos. Richard is also preceded in death by his brother, Alan Keiser. Left to cherish the memory of Richard is his daughter, Amanda DeVos; his son, David Smith; sisters, Brenda (Timothy) Davis, Pamela (Ben) Koch, Sharon (Gary) Evans, and Diana (Bill) Lippert; and his brother, Daniel DeVos. Richard is also survived by a large extended family. Richard enjoyed spending his time outdoors. He spent as much time as he could outside fishing or grilling. Per the family, there will be no services at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date. St Joseph Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
