SOUTH BEND - Private services for Steven A. Medich, 75, formerly of West Calvert Street, who died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fort Wayne, will be on Monday. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 5 p.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Mr. Medich was formerly employed by Honey R.V. of Elkhart, Bendix and Studebaker Corp. He was born Aug. 15, 1919, in Flint, Mich., living here most of his life. Surviving are three daughters, Cathy Kush of South Bend, Stephanie Smith of Auburn, Ala., and Shellie Medich of Colorado Springs. Colo.; a son, Andrew of South Bend; three grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Medich, Dell Stevanovic and Vera Vranic, all of Griffith, Ind., and Mary Gardini and Betsy Corthier, both of South Bend; and three brothers, Robert P., Dan, and Val, all of South Bend.
He was a member of the church and of Disabled American Veterans. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
