GRANGER - Marjorie L. Herrschop, 93, of Granger, passed away on November 21st, in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in LaPorte, Indiana on January 4, 1917, to the late Alfred W. and Leona (Moore) Beeman. On April 20, 1940, in Mishawaka, she married Luke J. Herrschop, he preceded her in death in 1984. Marjorie was a thirty-year member of the Harris Prairie Church of Christ. She loved reading and sewing, and she was also a great cook. Marjorie is survived by her children, Deborah (Kenneth) Odynski, of South Bend, Diane (David) Retek, of Granger, Donald Herrschop, of Granger, and Dennis (Connie) Herrschop, of Osceola. She was a grandmother of two, Jeffrey and Ryan Odynski. She is also survived by a brother, Duane Beeman, of South Bend; a brother-in-law: Victor Blong, of South Bend, four nieces, and one nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jocelyn Blong, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Beeman. Friends may visit with the family from 4 until 8 pm, Friday, November 26th in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. A funeral service celebrating Marjorie's life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, November 27th in the funeral chapel, where friends may visit one hour prior to service. Her final resting place will be with her husband in the Riverview Cemetery in South Bend. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Harris Prairie Church of Christ.
