South Bend - Harriett Feece, 97, passed away on Monday. Harriett was born March 21, 1925 in South Bend, IN to the late Harry and Vera (Wells) Hogue. On July 1, 1944, Harriett married Leo Feece, he preceded her in death. Harriett was also preceded in death by husband Bill Foor and husband Robert Eklund. Left to cherish Harriett’s memory are her children, Lynn (Alan) Walsh, Dennis (Deborah) Feece, and Carol (Leonard) Kuzmicz; grandchildren, Christopher (Vickie) Walsh, Timothy (Robyn) Walsh, Patrick (Laura) Walsh, Lauren (Chris Silva) Feece, Bryan Feece, Andrew (Stacey Beadin) Feece, Lisa (Jeremy) Helmholdt, Benjamin (Jenna) Kuzmicz, Matthew Kuzmicz, and 11 great-grandchildren. Harriett graduated class of 1943 from Rochester High School. She worked in the offices at Navarre School, Goodwill Industries, and Bendix Corp. Harriett was very involved with her Christian Churches in Indiana and Texas. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, needlepoint, ceramics, and adult color books. She was an avid reader. Harriett loved to communicate and follow her family and friends through Facebook. The family would like to thank the staff of Memorial Hospital and Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care and kindness to Harriett and her family. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, July 31, 2022 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
