Frank J. "Farmer" Lenczowski

Frank J. "Farmer" Lenczowski, 70, of 1408 Fremont St., died at 2:57 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Medical Center. He retired from White Farm Equipment Co., where he was employed for 38 years. born Dec. 29, 1914, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life. On Nov. 24, 1938, in South Bend, he married Marjorie Paczkowski, who survives along with two daughters, Sharon Ozdyck of LaPorte and Judith Link of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six sisters, Anna Zakrzewski, Alice Marcinkowski, Harriet Jones and Josephine Miller, all of South Bend, Bernice Malinowski of Mishawaka and Stella Miller of Orlando, Fla.; and four brothers, Bernard, John and Stephen, all of South Bend, and Stanley of Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Lenczowski also was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Fish Lake, the Fish Lake Conservation Club and United Auto Workers Local No. 1095.
