MISHAWAKA - Joann D. Bell, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Joann was born on August 8, 1932, in South Bend, to the late Forest and Bernice (Stachowski) Ciesiolka. Joann was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Bell; granddaughter, Karsyn Bell; and four brothers and one sister. Survivors of Joann include her children, Ginney (Gary) Dilk of Grandview, TN, Mark (Kimberly) Bell of South Bend, Marty (Linnea) Bell of Granger, Andy (Kimberly) Bell of Jimtown, Jon (Robin) Bell of Sarasota, FL, Jamie Bell of Mishawaka, Cory (Deb) Bell of Middlebury, Brad (Anne) Bell of Elkhart, and Brian (Sara) Bell of Mishawaka; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Brence) Jackson of Michigan City and Barbara Gustafson of South Bend; and brother, Robert (Joan) Ciesiolka of South Bend. Joann was an assembler at Bender Plastics for 23 years. She was a parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Joann enjoyed spending time outside in her yard. She also collected rocks from places she and her children visited. She was an avid football fan, especially Notre Dame and the New England Patriots. Joann loved spending time with her family, especially going to Bonnie Doon's and ordering her favorite chocolate soda. Most of all, she looked forward to the annual Ciesiolka family reunion every summer. Visitation for Joann will be held 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with a one hour visitation prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545; or Real Services, 1151 S.
