[N22936] MISHWAKA-Stanley Lenczowski, 90, passed away November 29, 2019 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was born December 3, 1928 in South Bend, IN to Joseph & Maryann (Kumor) Lenczowski.
On June 28, 1952 in South Bend he married Marilyn Murphy; she survives along with 1 daughter, Jane Anderson, and 1 grandson, Eric Anderson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill Lenczowski and his parents. Stanley was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and worked at United Airlines for many years. He enjoyed gardening but his true passion was helping others in his community. He and Marilyn started CO-OP 65 which ran for 30 years. CO-OP 65 helped feed those in the community who needed it. Per his wishes cremation will take place and there will be no formal services. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
