Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Rospopo, 55 years old, passed away at 4:44 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Kathy was born on February 26, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH and has lived in South Bend since 1971. On February 5, 1988 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakeville, Kathy was united in marriage to Charles J. Rospopo. Along with her loving husband, Charles, survivors include their son, Randy W. Rospopo of South Bend; parents, Gerald and JoAnn Wernsing of South Bend; five siblings and their families, Debra (the late Daniel) Lower of South Bend, Karen (Darrell) Nemeth of South Bend, Mary (Kurt) Warner of South Bend, Jeff (Dawn) Wernsing of Cape Coral, FL, and Michelle (Jason) Creighton of Carmel, IN. A gathering to celebrate the life of Kathy will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend. A private burial will be held at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
