SOUTH BEND - William Jastrzebski, 73, lifelong resident of South Bend, passed away at 7:20 am Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in Signature Healthcare of South Bend. He was born December 27, 1943, to the late Josef and Juliana (Koszutar) Jastrzebski. On May 29, 1976, William married the former Virginia Lee Hess, who preceded him in death after 37 years of marriage. William is survived by sisters, Donna Hoskins of Mishawaka and Ann (late husband, Tom) Mack, also of Mishawaka; and brothers, Walter (Joyce) Jastrzebski of South Bend and John (Dawn) Jastrzebski of North Carolina; as well as several grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. William worked as a machine operator for Lock Joint Tube Inc. for 38 years prior to retirement.The family would like to express special thanks to Todd, Lindsay & Brittany Marvin for their love and support of William. There will be no public services. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Pet Refuge, 4626 Burnett Drive, South Bend, IN 46614.
