SOUTH BEND - Patricia J. Davis, 75, passed away at home on Monday, November 24, 2014. Patricia was born on March 12, 1939 in Saginaw, MI to Walter and Josephine (Achtabowski) Baybeck. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Allen Davis and a brother, Patrick Baybeck. On July 19, 1958 in Saginaw, MI, Patricia married James L. Davis. Surviving are her loving husband, James; daughters, Julie (Claude) Taylor of Granger, Jill (Gerald) Keyes of Zionsville, IN and Joy (Mike) Overstreet of Mankato, MN; seven grandchildren, Kelsey and Megan Davis, Aaron and Adam Keyes, James Overstreet and Halie and Hanah Taylor; sisters, Mary (Roger) D'Hondt of Rochester Hills, MI, Judy (Richard) Henning of Saginaw, MI and brothers, Pete (Linda) Baybeck of Arlington, TN and Michael (Edith) Baybeck of Bridgeport, MI. Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Sheri Davis of Fort Wayne, IN and many nieces and nephews. Patricia enjoyed spending her free time reading; she read almost every book in the library, she was a great cook, an avid bowler and enjoyed her trip to Las Vegas with her daughters. She was a valued employee at Tuesday Morning and worked many years at Target. She belonged to bowling leagues, Bunko Club and Bercliff Garden Club. She treasured her time with her family and grandchildren, and the fun times spent with her sisters and her mom on many trips. She was a special NANA- she never missed choir concerts, soccer games, lacrosse games or any of her grandchildren's sporting events. Visitation will be on Friday, November 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Bob Vale officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. The family would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to Hospice, especially Arlin. He was here with us every step of the way.
