Virginia Theresa Sniadecki, 78, of Kaley Street, South Bend, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2006, in her residence. Virginia was born on April 7, 1928, in New Carlisle, to Vincent and Frances (Stayback) Kuspa. In 1948, she had married Alfred Sniadecki, who survives along with sisters, Gertrude Trudzinski, Irene Sobieralski and Dolores Alexander, all of South Bend; and a brother, Joseph Kuspa of Mishawaka.She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Victor Kuspa. Working as a machine operator at RACO, she retired in 1977. Virginia was a member of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr. She loved playing bingo, cards, working puzzles, and gardening. She also enjoyed working on ceramics and painting.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 20, 2006, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. MAYFLOWER ROAD, SOUTH BEND, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 21, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
