Sept. 9, 2009 SOUTH BEND - Clement C. Wroblewski, Sr., 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. Survivors include his son, Clement C. (Fran) Wroblewski, Jr.; three grandchildren, Clement C. (Kelly) Wroblewski, III, Melissa Wroblewski, and Jason (Mary Beth) Wroblewski; and five great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Ann Marie, Madeline, and Marguerite. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, September 14, in Holy Cross Church. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.

SOUTH BEND - Clement C. Wroblewski, Sr., 88, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 6:32 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2009, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Clement was born on February 7, 1921, in South Bend, to Charles and Constance (Szocinski) Wroblewski, and was a lifelong resident. He retired from South Bend Lathe, where he was employed for 20 years. He had also been employed with the former Studebaker Corporation for 20 years. On July 25, 1942, in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Terre Coupee, IN, he married Loretta D. Zytowski, who preceded him in death on July 22, 2008. Also preceding him in death was a son, James C. Wroblewski; seven sisters, Alice Nemeth, Evelyn Bell, Monica Vohs, Lorraine Berzai, Ethel Kaczorowski, Verna Galvas, and Virginia Szalay; and a brother, Raymond Wroblewski. Survivors include a son, Clement C. (Fran) Wroblewski, Jr. of South Bend; three grandchildren, Clement C. (Kelly) Wroblewski, III of South Bend, Melissa Wroblewski of South Bend, and Jason (Mary Beth) Wroblewski of Toledo, OH; and five great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Ann Marie, and Madeline Wroblewski and Marguerite Jay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday, September 14, in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Clement was a lifelong bowler. He w as a member of St. Casimir's Bowling League and Married Mens Club. Clement loved camping, the outdoors, and working in his garden. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed fishing at Lake of the Woods. He always enjoyed eating at buffets. Clement was very proud of his family and loved spending time with them whenever he could.
