Born 23 Dec 1913 in Elberta Ala , the son of Vendel & Julis Kis Horvath.; died 8 Nov 1997 age 83 of Monterey Court early in the morning in Joplin MO. His family moved to So Bend in 1916 where he resided until he moved to Joplin in 1996. He retired from Bendix Corp. Services at Christ the King Catholic Church; burial in Highland Cemetery. ON 25 Nov 1939 he wed Martha A Szuba who preceded him in death on 5 Feb 1995. He was also preceded in death by 2 brtohers & a sister. Surviving is a son, Dr Michael J Horvath, 2 grand daughters from Joplin; a dau Mrs Marilyn Widmer and a brother, Julius Horvath.
