Born 3 Sept 1895 Pittsburg Pa; lived in So Bend 70 years; died 10 Aug 1981, age 85 of Marion Hill Retirement Home, 415 N Frances after a brief illness. He retired from the South Bend Police Dept. Veteran of WW I. Services held at St Adalbert's Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 24 Sept 1928 he wed Julia Brambert, who died in 1965. He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Helen Derniak, Mrs. Bernice Makowski and Mrs. Agnes Niedzwiadek, all of South Bend and a brother, Bert J Gresczyk of South Bend also.
