SOUTH BEND - Patricia J. Kovach, 84, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Sunday, February 28, 2010, in Memorial Hospital. Patricia was born on February 13, 1926, in South Bend, to Edward and Wanda (Klowsoski) Roytek. She was employed by Studebaker and was a member of its Maryann Club. On April 26, 1947, in South Bend, she married Elmer E. Kovach, who died on December 27, 2004. Pat was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Roytek and Edward Roytek. Surviving are two daughters, Denise (Kim) Myers of South Bend and Jacqueline (Andy) Froh of Dewitt, MI; three grandchildren, Krista Myers, Robert Myers and Drew Froh; and a brother, Donald Roytek of Mishawaka. The Kovach family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shaya Mokfi, his staff, and the staff at Inwood Hills Estates. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, in St. Jude Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
