MISHAWAKA - Teressa "Terry" A. McNerney, 84, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at 2:55 PM Friday, September 18, 2015, at Sprenger Health Care, Mishawaka. Terry was born on May 24, 1931, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late John Lukacs and Elizabeth (Baranyai) Lukacs, and had lived in this area for most of her life. She also lived in Arizona for 16 years. She is a graduate of Washington Clay High School and later attended Memorial Nursing School, graduating in 1951 as a registered nurse. She worked at a variety of places including Memorial Hospital; a nursing home; as an occupational health nurse at the former Torrington Co.; and she finished her nursing career at the St. Joseph County Health Department. On August 2, 1952, at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, Mishawaka, she was united in marriage to John M. Hall, who preceded her in death on November 13, 1979. On March 21, 1989, in Las Vegas, NV, she married Charles McNerney, who also preceded her in death in October 2014. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (James) Luccki of Mishawaka and Jill A. Stamatovich of South Bend; son, John M. (Robyn) Hall of South Bend; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ginger Miloserny of Queen Creek, AZ. As Terry's request, there will be no funeral services. Palmer Funeral Home and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
