SOUTH BEND - Theresa E. Kosik, 92, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 1:10 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012, in the Sanctuary of Holy Cross. Theresa was born on July 5, 1920, in South Bend, to Peter and Julia Szucs, and was a lifelong resident. She retired from the University of Notre Dame. On September 1, 1945, in South Bend, she married Frank G. Kosik, who preceded her in death on January 24, 1970. Survivors include her daughter, Sue Stigner of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Reeder, Denise (Ken) Boyer, Brian (Marne) Stigner and Brandon (Heather) Stigner; and eleven great-grandchildren, Eric and Sarah Reeder, Jake, Kyle and Ben Boyer, Devren, Ryan, Conner and Gage Stigner, and Hannah and Jarrod Stigner. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
