Nicholas “Nick” Dwayne Prathaftakis, 65, residing in Osceola, Indiana passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Elkhart General Hospital. Nick was born March 25, 1957 to Constantine “Gus” Prathaftakis and Carol J. (Kubu) Prathaftakis, both preceded him in death. Nick was a great handyman who could build anything. He loved to fish, sing karaoke, and gardening. He had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed watching Notre Dame football games. Along with his son, Nate, he is survived by his sisters, Marsha Nemeth of Osceola and Lisa (Bill) Grabarek of Warsaw. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
