WAKARUSA - Inez Reum, 91, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011, at 8:46 a.m. in Miller's Merry Manor. Inez was born on January 17, 1920, to Floyd and Marianne (Gehl) Kline in Mishawaka, IN. On August 5, 1939, in Bremen, IN, Inez married Warren A. Reum, who preceded her in death on January 10, 1995. She was a homemaker and a clerk for a store formerly known as Wolfbergs, Wakarusa. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Wakarusa, and was a Sunday school teacher for 62 years. She was a 1938 graduate of Madison High School, received a 60-year award from St. Joseph County Extension Homemakers Club, was a 4-H leader for many years and a past board member of Bremen Manor. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Severeid of Wakarusa; two sons, Michael (Carolyn) Reum of Granger and Stanley Reum of Wakarusa; a brother, Loren J. "Pete" Kline; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Moffin; and four brothers, Bob, Jim, Gene. She will lie in state at one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. service on Thursday, June 2, 2011, in the Zion United Church of Christ, Wakarusa. Service will be officiated by Rev. Dale Speckman of the Zion United Church of Christ, Wakarusa. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
