SOUTH BEND - Loretta H. Wasowski, 90, passed away on November 5, 2008 at 10:50 p.m. in Regency Place, South Bend. Loretta was born on October 15, 1918 in south Bend to the late Wladyslaw and Kathryn (Zakrzewski) Cwiklinski. On September 14, 1946, in South Bend she married Alex J. Wasowski in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2006. Also preceding her in death was a grandson, Ryan Wittner on September 10, 2008 and a sister, Genevieve Cwiklinski. She is survived by two daughter, Peggy (Dennis) Jarusewic of Granger and Joan (Gregory) Wittner of Mishawaka; two sons, Larry (Maryellen) Wasowski of Charlotte, NC and Jerry (Tami) Wasowski of Crown Point, IN; grandchildren, Bridget Wasowski of Charlotte, NC, Bryan, Missy and Erin Jarusewic of Granger, Lindsay and Karly Wasowski of Crown Point, IN; granddaugher-in-law, Brandy Wittner of Mishawaka; great-granddaughter, Lilly Wittner; sisters, Helen Veclotch of Newport Richey, FL, Alfred Baranowski of Granger, Dorothy Cwiklinski of Mishawaka, and Zita Wojcik of Des Plaines, IL. A special "Thank You" to the staff at Regency Place and Southern Care Hospice for their care and compassion. There is no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower road, is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Care Hospice, 310 W. McKinley Suite 340, Mishawaka, IN 46545
