KELLER, TX - Michael G. Gaby, 59, departed this life Friday, July 10, 2015, after a long courageous battle with brain cancer. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller with Memorial visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mike's honor may be made to Baylor Neuro-Oncology Foundations, c/o Karen Fink, M.D., Ph.D, 3600 Gaston Ave., Ste. 100, Dallas, Texas 75246. Mike was born July 23, 1955, in South Bend, IN. He married his lifelong sweetheart, Lori Romeo Gaby, on May 22, 1975, in Mishawaka, IN. Mike was self-employed and supported the Keller Youth Association. Mike was preceded in death by his son, Brian Alan Gaby and is survived by his wife, Lori; sons, Shawn (Melissa), Joseph (Monica), Michael (Mari) and Anthony (Madison); daughter, Katie; nephew, whom he raised, Patrick Romeo; nine grandchildren whom he loved dearly; his mother, Marylee Keays; his sister, Jeanie Yoder (Skip); several nieces and nephews; and his furry friend, "BB" girl.Published in South Bend Tribune on July 13, 2015
