SOUTH BEND - Ronald S. Samulski, 72, passed away at 11:34 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2009, in Rivercrest Specialty Hospital, Mishawaka. Ronald was born on September 19, 1936, in South Bend, to the late Stanislaus and Wanda (Kucharski) Samulski. Also preceding him in death were a son, Kent A. Samulski, who passed away on October 27, 2004, and a brother, Harry Samulski, who passed away in 1988. On August 2, 1958, Ronald married Patricia (Paluszewski). Surviving in South Bend are his wife, Patricia; their children, Kenneth (Pamela) Samulski of South Bend and Kevin (Brenda) Samulski of Mishawaka; and a granddaughter, Karen Samulski of South Bend. Ronald retired in 1998 from RACO after 29 years of service. He was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Pet Refuge, 2300 W. 6th St., Mishawaka, IN 46544
