[N13116] Joshua Lincoln Keultjes
Oct. 21, 1986 - Aug. 10, 2015
SOUTH BEND - Joshua Lincoln Keultjes, age 28, passed away from an illness on Wednesday, August 10th. He was born in South Bend, IN, to Joseph and Beth Ann (Tepe) Keultjes. He graduated from Lake Orion High School before heading west to Prescott College in Arizona, where he graduated with a double major in Education and Non-Profit Management. Josh, aka "Yeshua," was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin to one of the biggest and most loving families in South Bend. The only thing bigger than Josh's smile was his heart, which was always full of love and kindness for anyone who needed it. Josh loved all things that involved nature and music. Anyone who knew him understood the gentle nature of his soul and will miss him dearly. He met many friends in his travels across the country and we invite all to celebrate his beautiful, gracious life. Surviving family includes his parents, Beth & Joseph Keultjes of South Bend, Indiana; his three sisters, Carisse (Joe) Mittiga, Tara (Michael) Keultjes and Bethany (Chester) Heather; and brother, Shane (Michaela) Keultjes; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Those dearest to Joshua were his 11 beautiful nieces and nephews, Elijah, Savannah, JaKayla, Amani, Shane Angeline, Shawn, Amirah, Caterina, Kylan Joshua, Sheehan and Sonny. He was preceded in death by his brother, Sheehan Joseph. There will be a funeral Mass for Josh at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 13th, 2015, at the Crypt at Sacred Heart Parish at Notre Dame, preceded by a Rosary at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation at scleroderma.org. To send condolences to the family, please visit www.mcgannhay.com.
