SOUTH BEND - Helen T. “Busia” Golubski, 89, passed away August 13, 2016 in Hospice House. Helen was born June 21, 1927 in South Bend, to the late Alex and Gladys (Nycz) Dlugosz. On November 16, 1946, Helen married Daniel Golubski and he preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include daughter, Bette Calbetzor of South Bend; grandsons, Jonathan (Kim) Calbetzor of Citrus Springs, FL, and Chris Calbetzor of South Bend; granddaughter, Karyn Calbetzor of Easley, SC; brother, Chester (Theresa) Dlugosz of South Bend; and sisters, Mary Zack and Irene Chwalek both of South Bend. Helen worked at Bendix for 34 years before retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Adalbert's Rosary Society, Sisters Auxiliary, Harvest House, Hoosier Grandmothers, Golden Cluster, and PNA #83. She liked to play Bingo and going to the Casino. Helen played in Yahtzee and Euchre Clubs. She enjoyed crocheting and gave her afghans to everyone. She enjoyed her grandchildren. Visitation is 4-8 pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 5 pm. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St Joseph Cemetery.
