Thomas John Kulwicki, 83, passed away on January 4th, 2022 after a short illness. He was born on December 20th, 1939 in St. Joseph County Indiana to John and Pearl Kulwicki. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Joan Kulwicki, and sisters Rita Hojara and Elizabeth Molenda. Thomas graduated from New Carlisle High School and served in the Army. He worked for Royal Rubber and Triangle Rubber in Goshen, IN. He later became a real estate agent before retiring. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing in a band called The Notables as a guitar player and singer, and even performed Elvis impersonations. He also enjoyed his visits to the casinos. Thomas loved to fish and was always cracking jokes and making everyone smile. He had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present. He is survived by his daughters Annette (Mark) Clark of La Porte, IN and Jody (Chuck) Lazar of Long Beach, IN, as well as grandson Eric (Sarah) Clark of Fishers, IN and great granddaughters Ellie, Lucy and Emerson Clark. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tom’s name to: American Legion Post 284 Honor Guard, 23571 Grant Rd., South Bend, IN 46619.
