SOUTH BEND - Clement E. Holewczynski, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, in Memorial Hospital. Clement was born February 8, 1927, in South Bend, to the late Leo and Mary (Hecklinski) Holewczynski. On April 7, 1951, Clement married his loving wife Ruth (Golichowski) Holewczynski, she survives along with their children, Deborah (James) Keeley, Karen (Russell) Ciesiolka, David (Lynne) Holewczynski and Kenneth (Lori) Holewczynski; grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah), Timothy (Emily), Alicia, Alex, Kyle, and Paul Holewczynski, and Jessica and Ryan Ciesiolka; great-grandson, Isaac Holewczynski; and sister, Dorothy Golichowski. Clement honorably served his country in United States Air Force during WW II. He graduated from Washington High School. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member of American Legion Post #284. Clement had a passion for golfing and, most of all, Clement loved spending time with his family. Visitation for Clement will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm today, January 9, 2014, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, January 10, 2014, in Holy Family Catholic Church, with a 1 hour visitation prior at the church.
