Lucille Radecki, 96, formerly of Peashway Street and St. Pauls Retirement Center, passed away at 7:07 p.m. Thursday, June 5, in Hospice House. She was born on Jan. 7, 1907, in South Bend, Ind., to Michael and Francis (Joblonski) Nowicki, who preceded her in death. On July 22, 1929, she married Clement Radecki, who passed away on June 3, 1999. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Bert; and by three sisters, Mary, Anna and Antonette. Lucille is survived by a daughter, Elaine (Jim) Thompson; two grandchildren, Karen (George) Woolley of Plano, Texas, and Tony (Sheila) Thompson of Louisville, Ky.; and by five great-grandchildren, Jeremy and David Woolley, and Abigail, Andrew and Erin Thompson. She belonged to St. Casimir Catholic Church and MR Falcons. She worked many years at MR Falcons on Dyngus Day. There will be no visitation. Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Catholic Church. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of St. Joseph County. The ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 827 E. IRELAND ROAD, is handling arrangements.
