SPRINGER- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Queen of Peace Catholic church for Alex E. Springer, 71, of 10956 Lakeshore, Osceola, who died Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital. Rev. Michael Vichuras will officiate, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Warner Funeral Home, Osceola, where the a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today. Springer's grandsons will serves as pallbearers. He was a member of Queen of Peace parish, and retired from the former Studebaker Corp, South Bend, after 32 years of employment.
