SOUTH BEND - South Bend - Joseph F. Zsedeny, 82, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 in his home. Joe was born August 4, 1934 in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Helen (Lawrence) Zsedeny. Joe married Loretta (Horvath) Zsedeny, she preceded him in death. Joe was also preceded in death by his 2nd wife, Sally (Pastrick) Zsedeny. Survivors of Joe include his children, Steve (Christine) Zsedeny, John Zsedeny, and Karen Scott; grandchildren, Joseph (Sapphire) Scott, and Samantha Zsedeny; great- grandchildren, Jaidon, DeAndre and Samira; and brothers, Les Deny of West Palm Beach, FL, and Frank (Gloria) Deny of NV. Joe was a Mechanic with Roundy's Food. He was a member of the local Teamsters Union. He enjoyed working and repairing cars. Joe was known as a handyman who could fix anything. He enjoyed visiting Hesston's Steam Museum and going to the car demolitions. Joe was also an avid Notre Dame Football fan. Most of all, Joe loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and great grandkids. Visitation for Joe will be 11:00am to 1:00pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Funeral Service will take place at 1:00pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, 829 W.
