April 27, 1914 - Oct. 8, 2012 DONALDSON - Sr. Longinia Pobiedzinski PHJC, 98, of Donaldson, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012, in the Catherine Kasper Life Center on the grounds of Ancilla Domini. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana, on April 27, 1914, the daughter of Casmir and Sabina (Beranowski) Pobiedzinski. Sr. Longinia held a master's degree in Classical Languages. She entered the convent on December 7, 1930, and professed her vows on June 25, 1933. Her life ministry was education. Surviving are one brother, Marion Pobiedzinski, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Catherine Kasper Chapel, 9601 Union Road in Donaldson, today, October 10, 2012, from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. EDT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Catherine Kasper Chapel at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Ancilla Domini. The Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, is in charge of arrangements.
