Edward F. Voreis, 69, of South Bend, IN., passed away at 1:21 a.m. Tuesday March 22, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Edward was born on August 23, 1952 in Chicago, IL to Kenneth and Margaret (Halter) Voreis. On February 16, 1974 in South Bend, Edward married Jeanne M. Kaniewski. Jeanne survives along with their son, Adam (Alison) Voreis of South Bend, two grandchildren, Mila Voreis and Jonas Voreis, two sisters; Jeanne Kovacs of South Carolina and Joann (Charlie) Evans of Florida, two brothers; Jerry Feldy of Texas and Martin (Jody) Feldy of Missouri and one sister in law, Marilyn Sveda of Louisiana, and his long time friend Karen (Richard) Myers and also surviving is Edwards’s kitten, Simba. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Thomas Sveda and a half brother, Edward Marion. Edward was a 1971 graduate of Clay High School and he worked for NAPA Ridge Auto Parts for many years where he made many friends. Edward enjoyed riding his bike, especially riding his bike at the University of Notre Dame and was a big fan of Notre Dame Football. Edward also enjoyed photography. There will be no services.
